CrazyGoldFish is a set of APIs your software calls. Each product does one job: grade student work, turn a graded exam into next steps, write teaching material, or give a teacher feedback on a lesson. You can use one of them or all five.

What are the products?

Exam Evaluation

Grades answer sheets, including scans of handwritten ones, against the model answers you upload, question by question. Marks can be corrected, and results are published in two stages.

Assignment Evaluation

Grades everyday English work, or anything you score against a rubric, from documents or audio. A rubric is a list of things you score an answer on. There is no subject setting.

Action Plans

Reads the written feedback on the answers that lost marks in a graded exam, and writes what a student should work on next, or what a teacher should reteach and to whom.

AI Studio

The content builders. The Worksheet Builder writes practice questions with an answer key, and the Lesson Plan Builder writes a plan for a class.

ClassTrack

Listens to a recording of one lesson and judges the teaching against your rubric, with written observations and suggestions for the teacher. It needs the class details and the lesson date as well as the recording and the rubric.

What does each product take and give back?

Everything comes back as data for your product to display. There is no report or file to download. The one exception is Exam Evaluation, which can give you a link to a hosted screen where one student uploads their answer sheet and then sees their marks.

How do the products fit together?

They share an account, an access token, and the same board, grade, and subject IDs. Three hand-offs are real, and in each one your platform is the one that passes the data along.
No product triggers another. Each call is one you make. An evaluation does not create an action plan, an action plan does not create a worksheet, and an observation does not change a rubric or a lesson plan.

What do all the products have in common?

  • One address and one token. Everything is at https://api.crazygoldfish.com, and one access token works for every product.
  • Work runs in the background. AI work takes longer than a web request allows, so you start a job, get an ID, and collect the result when it is done.
  • You can be told when a job finishes. For many jobs you can register a webhook, which is a message CrazyGoldFish sends to your server. It tells you the job finished, and you then fetch the result. See which jobs support one.
  • Most products cap how much you can start, and the caps are not uniform. Worksheets, lesson plans, and action plans are capped per day per account, and answer 429 above that. Exam and assignment documents are capped per day per API user, so two of your users each get their own allowance, and going over answers 400 for a paper sent for reading and 429 for an answer sheet sent for marking. Assignment audio answers are capped in a 60 second window. ClassTrack has no cap at all. Ask CrazyGoldFish what your numbers are.
  • No AI team needed. Your developers send requests and read results. CrazyGoldFish runs the models.

Frequently asked questions

No. Each one works on its own, and most teams start with one.
Your developers list what is set up with the Metadata API: the boards CrazyGoldFish holds, then the grades under a board, then the subjects under a grade. Those lists are the IDs the products accept, and a create call checks only that the IDs you send exist. Treat them as a catalog of what exists rather than a statement of what your contract covers, and agree the scope with CrazyGoldFish. Exam Evaluation has its own fixed list of grades and subjects, and Assignment Evaluation has no subject setting.
No. CrazyGoldFish is an API layer for your product, plus one hosted screen where a single student can upload an answer sheet for an exam. Teachers, students, and anyone else keep using your platform.
No. Action plans are written from exams that CrazyGoldFish evaluated, because they read the per-answer feedback that evaluation stored.
Yes, at the points the products build in. Exam Evaluation lets marks and answers be corrected and results published in two stages, and the Worksheet Builder lets the topics, objectives, and question plan be edited before questions are written. Where a product returns a finished result, such as an action plan or a lesson observation, your platform decides what to show and what to change.The API accepts all of these calls from your platform without checking who is behind them. There are no teacher or student roles in CrazyGoldFish, so your platform decides which of its users may do each of them.
